How do you choose Process Oriented Mindset?
Do you ever get stuck in the outcome instead of the process?
I believe we all live somewhere on a sliding scale between being outcome-oriented and process-focused—and most days, I find myself shifting along that spectrum.
This shows up everywhere…
→ In the arena
→ At work
→ In our daily lives
What does it sound like when you're locked into an outcome-based mindset?
👉 "I have to win this."
👉 "This has to go perfectly."
👉 "If it doesn’t turn out the way I planned, it’s not worth it."
Sound familiar?
Personally, learning to shift into the process has changed everything. It’s helped me keep moving, even when things don’t go as expected. Even when the challenges pile up. Even when the plan shifts (which it always does).
But I won’t lie—it takes constant reminders.
Like building any muscle, staying in a process-oriented mindset gets easier with small wins, consistent reps, and intentional practice.
